I first visited a Medicaid clinic before my sister-in-law told me about PRC. I was not thrilled to go at first. My pregnancy was definitely a surprise and unplanned. My thoughts were that I am not ready to have this baby and I did not want to bring him into the world. I was all set to have the abortion and had even paid for the abortion pill, but seeing the ultrasound really changed my heart completely. All my life I have been against abortion, but I feared letting my parents know about my pregnancy. They accepted the news which really helped me, and at PRC, you made me feel like family right away. I just knew I would never be alone with your loving support for me and by baby. One of your partnering churches even threw me an amazing baby shower!
