A life threatening event with the father of the baby, caused “Karry” to send a text to PRC’s hotline at 11:30 pm. She had made an appointment for an abortion because she knew she could not be with the father and the pressure and abuse. She was informed about what services PRC provides and that she has time and does not need to make a decision in crisis. “Karry” walked into PRC a week later, even while keeping the appointment for the termination later that afternoon. Staff greeted and counseled her, and at the end of that session, she canceled her appointment. “Karry” chose life for her baby and for herself in Christ as she came weekly to PRC. Her Advocate introduced her to a local church and today she is living independently and raising “Billy” and daughter knowing that God did have a plan for her!
